Moving day!

Moving can get crazy with the number of things that need to be done before the big day.  Here are some tips to help you get started:
  • Start gathering boxes and packing supplies
  • Call utility companies and give them shut off dates for your old house, and dates you will be moving into your new home to have utilities connected 
  • Schedule movers or the rental truck
  • Find out what internet companies service your new area and schedule an appointment to have your internet hooked up
  • Contact companies who send you mail such as magazines or credit card companies, and notify them of your new address
  • Set up your change of address with the post office in order to have your mail forwarded to you
  • Don't forget about your pets, make moving arrangements and plans for your furry friends
