Chantilly and NODA two of my favorite areas

CHANTILLY

Charlotte’s Quaint Cottage Neighborhood! As you get closer to Charlotte’s uptown, Chantilly is nestled between Plaza Midwood on one side and Elizabeth on the other. These post-war dollhouses were built when two bedrooms and one bathroom could accommodate a family of four or more. Solidly constructed with hardwood floors, plaster walls and adorable curb appeal, these homes are ideal for people who want a great home in an established area– many renovators and home owners are discovering they can’t beat this terrific in-town Charlotte location. You will see many of the homes are now being “bumped up or out,” meaning with attic conversions and room additions houses are going from 1,000 square feet to well over 2600 square feet.

 Pancakes at Zeda Janes!

Perhaps the best thing about Chantilly is its location- you can walk to Elizabeth and Midwoods shopping districts.  In nearby Midwood, you will love Soul Gastrolounge, where unique tapas are served as a DJ spins nearby,  the wonderful smell of Midwood smoke house will leave your mouth watering and the irresistible Nova Bakery is found on Central ave.   The best DQ is also found on Central Ave.  Three thrift stores are near by walking. A very chic designer store Boris and Natasha is just across the street from the famous, Dish and Penguin diners.  Of course the ever-famous Starbucks and one-of-a-kind Crisp (for great salads) are found close by in the Elizabeth neighborhood. Have a hankering for a new comic book? The best comic book store is next door. Not to mention Lupies is a hop skip and a jump away.
Yet another great neighborhood to call home!

NoDa is Charlotte’s historic arts and entertainment district – a neighborhood where the people are as diverse as the art, live music, craft beers, restaurants, custom gifts and tattoos you will find here. NoDa is dedicated to promoting the arts, living eco-friendly lifestyles, supporting small businesses, encouraging diversity and aiding fellow charities. From NODA.org

The local Running community is AWESOME! they have weekly runs from the nearby NODA Brewing Company.

NODA has some up and coming Housing developments.  CALL ME TODAY TO SEE ANY of these neighborhoods!
